The Belgium Ghana Business Council – BGBC welcomes a new member into its network:

Specialty Beers started operations in 2022 with the opening of a new brewery at a former mango plantation in Nsawam, Ghana. At the same time, the range of Tale beers was launched. Tale beers are the prefect blend of African ingredients and Belgian brewing technology.

The range includes:

Tale 5 – Farmhouse Ale
Tale 6 – Hibiscus IPA
Tale 7 – Ginger Triple
Tale 8 – Cocoa Stout

Whereas their primary focus is to the develop their home market, export opportunities are being explored, both within the region as well as further afield. The brewery, which features decoction mashing, a thinbed mashfilter and a centrifuge beer filter is therefore also uniquely equiped to offer contract brewing solutions.

On the 30th of March 2023 the Belgium Ghana Business Council – BGBC President Mr. Thomas De Beule and BGBC Vice- President Mr. Zvi Donat attended Ghana 66th Independence Day celebration at H.E. Ambassador Sena Siaw-Boateng residence in Brussels, Belgium.

During the celebration BGBC President and Vice-President had the pleasure to meet the incoming Ambassador of Belgium for Ghana H.E. Carole van Eyll and BGBC Vice-President Zvi Donat.

This month (Dec ’22) BGBC President Mr. Thomas De Beule visited two companies active in the Chocolate 🍫 sector: Prefamac Chocolate Machines and Frederic Blondeel -Torréfacteur Chocolatier together with Ghana Embassy in Brussels and Ghana Cocoa Marketing Company based in London, UK.

On Tuesday 27/09/22 BGBC President Mr. Thomas De Beule and BGBC Vice-President Mr. Zvi Donat had the honour to handover to H.E. Ambassador Sena Siaw-Boateng of Ghana, Belgium Ghana Business Council – BGBC Honorary President Certificate in recognition of the Ambassador’s dedication, passion, and hard work in promoting Belgium and Ghana bilateral and trade relations.

On Wednesday the 22nd of June 2022 BGBC President Mr. Thomas De Beule had the honour to give an opening remark at the Ghana Diaspora Meeting organised by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre in collaboration with the Embassy of Ghana in Brussels, Belgium.

During his opening remark BGBC President Mr. Thomas De Beule mentioned that “As President of the Belgium Ghana Business Council – BGBC I believe it is key to involve
the diaspora to foster strong and beneficial ties between Belgium and Ghana in
area’s of investment, trade and education”
